Public Service Survey

The executive would like to remind everyone, if they haven’t yet done so, to please fill out the public service survey. This is our opportunity to express our satisfaction or lack there of with our work place. It is extremely important that we all take the time to fill the survey out as the agency is obligated to take measures to improve our work place based on the results of this survey. The 2008 survey placed us 2nd last (just behind Corrections) in the entire public service in job satisfaction and many other areas. Some initiatives and improvements have been made and are being worked on but there are still improvements to be made. This survey will tell them where as it is the governments method of gauging the success of current initiatives and a guide where they need to make improvements. Please take the time to do the survey and answer honestly. If you feel the agency is doing a poor job in a particular area indicate it. The survey is anonymous and cannot be traced back to you. This is our opportunity to have a important and meaningful impact on our work place. The last one was 3 years ago, the next one may not be for 3 or more years. Please take this opportunity and have your voices heard.
