PSAC commissions Environics to poll members

PSAC is going to be conducting a large poll of the membership as part of the ongoingprocess to ensure that your voices are heard and that your priorities are reflected in thework of our union.Environics Research Group, a well-known and respected polling firm wil be conductingthe survey for PSAC, asking questions about union priorities and processes.

Here are some things you should know about the survey:.

The survey will be conducted by phone starting in late February and continuinguntil the end of March..

A sample of members from all of our union's bargaining units will be called..

Members may accept or decline to participate in the survey. When calling,Environics will identify that they are calling on behalf of the PSAC..

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete..

Individual information collected through the survey is confidential. At no time willthe opinions of individual members be identified..

The data collected wil be used to inform discussions on union priorities and howthe union should advocate for those priorities as effectively as possible.

This telephone poll is the first of many opportunities over the coming year for you tocontribute to the future direction of the PSAC. Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives. If you're called to participate in the survey, we hope you'll say yes.Your opinions are important!
